500 Internal Server Error

Sorry, something went wrong.

A team of highly trained monkeys has been dispatched to deal with this situation.

If you see them, show them this information:

... then it generates random numbers each refresh

... hmmm, weird it won't load at all for me

Hey guys,

I just had a little question about YT; I had one of these internet-arguments and we were going at it pretty hard, messaging each other on youtube back and forth. All of a sudden I see the guys reply to me, his message, with the displaypic/logo/avatar of my own yt-channel in my inbox. And when I blocked the guy, he could still send me messages. And when the guy replied again, it came from or into my -sent messages- not my received inbox. ---what does this mean??? was i hacked or what??

Not sure what happened there, but I surely would contact Youtube about that.

@topic: the "random" number probably is a reference number you would quote in a support request email.

It's a kind of "ticket".

There is really no reason at all to assume a site was hacked because of a 500 error.

There are generally two kinds of hackings:

1. The kind where they steal information or infect the website, and you will almost never know about it (save for your antivirus possibly going off, if the case of the latter)

2. The kind where they WANT you to know, and plaster their tags all over the place.

There's also DDOSing which can cause problems where you won't be able to connect, sort of like here, but that isn't really hacking.
