Samsung PS64D8000

Hi,

I am planning to buy this TV instead of setting up a projector as the screen is large enough. Has anyone got this TV or have any reviews on it? What other alternatives are there?

I have it. Love it.

Only issue here is that it's 3D is active shudder which means you won't realistically use it. But it is incredibly sharp. It's a tough call between this and the LG. The LG uses passive 3D and is overall a bit easier to use.

The Samsung has a better picture (i.e. I notice the difference) but the smart TV features aren't quite as nice. You really can't go wrong though with it.
