it's alright ....but I go for a Samsung one if I were you. Hope you're not a gamer.

samsungs rocks! but i think NEC is still great. might want to get a higher contrast ratio though. that one is like 400:1 and i think mine is like 450:1. both the same size too. if i remember correctly, i picked mine up for like $390

You might check out ADI, I love my 17" and I play several games on it and watch tons of movies. It has a 400:1 contrast control and come with a 3-year warranty. I got one from pricewatch for $390 shipped. Good Luck. :)

Or you can search for the Dell UltraSharp 1800FP on ebay, my roommate has one and its sweet.
