My ipod wont synch with my songs?

I'm not sure if this is the right place or not to ask this, but here it goes.

I downloaded some music onto my itunes earlier. I had roughly 300 songs and just about all of them went through except for a few albums which would not synch with my ipod. I checked my itunes folder and they werent in it, yet they are in my itunes library and i am listening to them while i type this. I changed the way i synch my music to albums because they show up under that for some reason.

When i look under artists on my ipod i cant find The Black Keys or Coconut Records, yet they show up when i look for the record names in Albums.

How do i fix this? I want them to show up under Artists, not Albums.

Well, the right place would be this forum. As far as I understood you sync'd your mp3s but some of them don't show up correctly, right? Have you tried to edit ID3 of these files?

I edited all the info and its all what it should be, when i go to synch by album i can see the music i want but when i look at the artist i cant see it. How come it doesnt show up on artists?
