With Dr. House starting off season 8 in prison, Fox’s new key art for the show has Hugh Laurie rockin’ the orange jumpsuit while his fellow inmates get busy busting desert rocks. House returns to Monday nights starting Oct. 3.

So he's had a (long running) drug problem and was even in rehab and is now spending time in prison. HOW does a character like this maintain a medical license??? At some point I don't think you can realistically call it "House, M.D." anymore.

I'll still watch it though. :)

he had it revoked multiple times,, he was kept on at the hospital as a non practicing consultant or something, on a couple of occasions.

I have a feeling this season will be like when he was in rehab, a few episodes in the slammer then he's out being an MD somehow again. I dunno, I miss Season 3-4 House.

i have a feeling hes goign to be an unofficial MD in the slammer, shows him beign pushed around and crap in that short, more then likely he will fix some prisoner, then all the inmates will be all " OMG " and then be his friend cause he can either A: get them out ( transfered to lower sec prison ) easy by making up some rare disease, or fix them from all the behind the bars type action

They're really going in circles with the "drug issue-House collapsing--rehab-House finds his human side--House realizes he's too miserable--House collapses" thing, but hey, it's not like this show has great writing, without Laurie and the character of House it would be Grey's Anatomy meets CSI. Not sure if I'll be keeping up with this season, though, kinda bored of it.

What are you talking about? That is what real people go through every day with drug addictions. There are people that stay like that for their whole lives. They can 'milk' it all they want and it would still be realistic imo.

This show is anything but realistic.

So the first episode of the season leaked onto the Interwebz. The episode is great and a bit different than what you would have come to expect from House. The different environment and the constant danger (to House) is great and makes for a great tv.

But the best part of the episode was Odette Annable. I was a disappointed when they lost Olivia Wilde, but Odette is a FINE replacement.

whoa! Olivia Wilde is gone? When did this happen?

I did not see her listed for the 8th season and with the addition of Odette, I naturally assumed that she was gone. You mean to tell me that Olivia and Odette will both be on House at the same time? Impossible!!!!!111! Too much hotness in one place. The universe would implode.

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
