it was a very revealing episode, but im still questioning if tate is alive or not. I know they showed up being shot a few weeks ago, but remember he also has been able to leave the house for his therapy vists a few times. Also still questioning if Violet is alive, I mean she hasn't been to school in 2 weeks

Crazy episode, but I think I finally see how they are going to do a season 02.

I think it is pretty obvious that

Ben is going to kill himself, so he can join Vivian and Violet.

Next season

a new family comes, while the family we have come to know and like stays on as "ghosts.'

Pretty ingenious way of continuing the series when you think about it, the only thing is then the show has the potential of having way to large of a cast, so I believe the writers will no doubt

introduce a way that the "ghosts" can indeed can rid of each-other.

I was saying this on the FB discussion thread, but yeah you can almost expect Ben to die so the family would stay at the house. Early in the season I had the thought that they would be one of the first home owners to make it out of the house alive, but now they won't. I mean did they ever say if any other home owners besides Constance made it out alive? Also that whole baby delivery scene was just wild, wonder if we will see the babies next episode. Ben is going to end up crazy, I mean how do you respond why your daughter says "Dad don't you get it, I'm dead" haha

So my wife was reading me an article she had found, the writers have announced that next season is a brand new fresh start. No more Harmon family at all. If the stars of the show come back, they will be completely different characters. They are also saying it will definitely be a new setting. And that the show plans on covering all types of classic American Horror stories, so it may not even be a haunted house at all.

Actually, I found an article about it here.

  • Each season of the show will feature a different haunting: a new home, building, prison, etc.
  • Each season will feature new principal actors, but previous actors may make appearances as completely different characters with different looks.
  • Each season will showcase new creatures and monsters.
  • Each season will answer the question of what an American horror can be.
  • Each season will explore a new theme, as in the theme of infidelity for season one. (Murphy also commented that a hint to season two?s theme was hidden within the last three episodes of season one. Any thoughts? Check out our recaps to refresh your memory!)
  • A DVD boxset of season one will be available, allowing fans to watch the series from the beginning and pick up on clues to the Harmon family?s fate that were present from the outset.
  • Stories of true crimes in American will continue to be featured in future episodes.
  • Each season will feature a new title sequence that is relative to the theme of that particular season. Murphy commented that he is trying to keep the same music team to keep consistency through the score.

I actually think that is the only sensible approach to the show itself, as I did not see how they were going to continue this whole story line convincingly. I also like the idea of a "serial" television season.

Sounds awesome! Leaves them tons of flexibility to go in different directions each season. I was wondering how they would continue the existing story as well, the antichrist thing woulda gotten silly.

Yep, 110% agreed. Really like the whole sound of this. Very much looking forward to what they come up with each season. Hoping the show has a long run.

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
