A great weekend of racing and what a nice track it was. I think the open corners really allowed some nice overtakes. Only black mark for the whole weekend was Ferrari's dirty tactics. While it isn't against the rules what they did, it wasn't fair on Massa who worked hard to get that qualifying position to then be pushed back so Alonso has a better chance. I understand on the track if Alonso caught up to Massa, perhaps let him through a bit easier. That makes sense but to purposely damage his gearbox so he drops back 5 places and also ruin a few other drivers hard work.

I honestly don't think any other team on the grid would do that. I think even Red Bull would say let them race but don't fight too hard. I thought Alonso this year deserved the championship because of how well he drove and consistently got points. Now i hope Vettel wins and Massa finishes higher than Alonso in Brazil.

You just watch,

Massa is going to take Vettel out.

heard it here first.

... and only you think it wouldnt result in a heavy penalty ...

massa and webber might be usefull to hold a place in the points but problem is: webber is too slow and if massa is in front of alonso, ferrari will again unseal his gearbox.

Coca-Cola's Burn brand to sponsor Lotus Formula 1 team

The Coca-Cola Company has confirmed it will sponsor the Lotus Formula 1 team through its Burn brand, as reported earlier by AUTOSPORT.

Burn will join an F1 grid that features increasing amounts of energy drink sponsorship by companies such as Red Bull, TNT and Monster.

"We are proud that The Coca-Cola Company [via Burn] has chosen Lotus F1 Team as the best vehicle to represent the burn brand in its most high profile partnership," said team boss Eric Boullier.

"We are excited to partner with burn to build a new and innovative model for sponsorships that will combine experiences, content creation and social media."

Burn said in a statement that it plans to incorporate "art and music in a way that will break the conventions of traditional F1 sponsorship".

?Whining? Alonso has had ?very good? Ferrari in 2012 says Marko

Dr Helmut Marko, Red Bull?s outspoken driver manager, has scoffed at the paddock?s depiction of Fernando Alonso as the great title underdog.

The Austrian admitted to Auto Bild Motorsport that he has taken exception to Spaniard Alonso?s repeated depiction of a David versus Goliath-style struggle against championship favourite Sebastian Vettel?s vastly superior Red Bull.

?Who had the best car at Hockenheim?? Marko asked rhetorically.

?The Ferrari is not as bad as everyone says it is.

?Maybe Fernando has not always had the fastest car, but he has certainly had a very good one throughout the season.

?If he (Alonso) says he is fighting with blunt weapons, then I think he really is whining on a very high level,? insisted Marko.

Hardly well said, this years Ferrari has been a dog handling/performance wise yet Alonso is in title fight with the guy who has the fastest car on the grid by miles.

I hate Alonso but you can't deny that he has dragged that inconsistent Ferrari through 19 races.

what i think is a given is that the ferrari is by far the most reliable car and has a very solid race pace.

ask vettel about the alternator in his car or hami about the gearbox in his car.... they both lost probably between 80 and 100 points this year because of technical problems, while alonso and ferrari lost zero!

how vettel managed to turn arround a over 40 points deficit in a solid lead in the championship is quite sensational.

again: the fastest car means nothing if you dont finish the races. vettel lost probably between 80 and 100 points in total this year because of the alternator failures. alonso had perfect reliability. lost zero points there.

Um, its not like Alonso hasn't lost points this year, he retired at Suzuka after Kimi punctured his tyre, then there was the massive smash at Spa which took him out through no fault of his own, that's 50 points lost straight away.

Vettel has retired twice this year, as many times as Alonso has.

penalty for maldonado. lol this is the 3rd race in a row alonso gets gifted at least 1 grid position. i wonder why they even qualify.. better just let alonso chose the position he wants to start from.

The difference in points losses isn't actually that big. And Alonso may have had better reliability but he's also made fewer mistakes. Challenging the title is easy when you have one of the fastest cars, it's harder in a bad car, and almost everything Alonso has achieved this season apart from the tactical switch made by Ferrari at the last race he's done so entirely on his own merit.

Yeah.. Ferrari is just good for p7 or p8 as today has shown and Alonso is repeating every weekend since suzuka. Oh wait look at massa who is p5 and much closer to the front :p:P:P

how pathetic is alonso? discuss...

getting gifted everything, another race everything is going for him since lap 1...

but still... you cant beat DA MAN....

VETTEL 3 TIMES WORLD CHAMPION!!!! AWESOME RACE AND AWESOME FIGHT!

No.

No.

then i try different:

would massa won this race if he was allowed to RACE and not having drop 3-4 seconds many laps of the race to WAIT for alonso? :p

soooo happy now. this was the 2nd race after abu dhabi which was meant to go totally WRONG for vettel but he kept his cool and pulled of a wonder.

Can't wait for the season that Vettel gets a crap car...

you might have to wait much longer than the face of alonso is right now. :p

It supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced formats, with flexible configurations such as 5.1.4 or 7.1.2 speaker layouts. A key highlight is its built-in Dirac Live Room Correction which should help optimize sound based on your room and its acoustics. • A different thing with Russia. When you say is it better, depends on things. It is better that we don't have the E.U making rules and laws that have nothing to do with them. Is the trading part better? No, that is really mucked up, but then we knew that was going to happen and we would have make agreements, like we do with other parts of the world. Freedom of movement is certainly better, but could be improved, we still need more control over our borders. do you live in the U.K?
    • So what am I quoting from them? I never listened to what Farage or his cronies said. I wanted the U.K to leave the E.u years before the referendum and it had nothing to do with Farage and his cronies. So what country do you live in? Did we work much better together? We were always at logger heads with the E.U because we disagreed with them so much. Maggie was always on at them. I would have thought the E.U was glad to get rid of us as we stopped the integration or made it a two tier. Now without us they can integrate more. I would not have voted out if it was just a trading block and we can still work together on somethings.

    • Apple reportedly looks to blacklisted Chinese memory chips as RAM prices climb by Karthik Mudaliar Image via Apple Apple is reportedly trying to get a clearance from the Trump administration to buy memory from ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) to get some relief from soaring DRAM prices. As per a report by the Financial Times, Apple approached the Commerce Department more than a month ago and also spoke to other officials and allies in Washington. For starters, CXMT is a company that's already been placed on the Pentagon's list of Chinese military companies. The Chinese company is the country's top DRAM maker. For Apple, the timing is certainly awkward but not surprising. Tim Cook had recently warned that Apple would have to raise prices because AI companies are buying up large amounts of memory for data centers, and just like that, Apple raised MacBook and iPad prices. Micron also recently revealed that customers have committed billions of dollars to secure memory supply years in advance, which shows us how aggressive securing infrastructure has become. This gives suppliers such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron more leverage, while pushing hardware makers to look for alternatives. CXMT is one of those alternatives, but not the simplest one. Apple has spent many years trying to diversify parts of its supply chain away from China, especially for final assembly, while still depending heavily on Chinese manufacturing and suppliers. Even domestic brands from China are moving towards CXMT and YMTC instead of relying on Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix. For Apple, though, it would invite more scrutiny than local Chinese companies. For now, this is more like a lobbying effort rather than a confirmed supply deal. There's no official statement from either of the parties. What is clearer, though, is the pressure behind such a request. AI demand has certainly made hardware a bottleneck, and companies are trying everything they can to bring things back to normal, even if that means making politically sensitive choices.
