So which is it? The movie or movies you are most looking forward to this year.

For me, its a trio.

The Dark Knight Rises
The Avengers
The Amazing Spider Man

Skyfall (Nov 2012)

it's a James Bond film for those who don't know and with Sam Mendes directing it's a pretty safe bet to make my Top 5 films of 2012 as Mendes directed the masterpiece which is 'Road to Perdition' (2002)

so basically Skyfall should be closer to Casino Royale (2006) quality (which is the best Bond film ever) than the noticeably weaker Quantum of Solace (2008).

The Dark Knight Rises
Prometheus

Those are the only two I'm anticipating at this point. I was hoping that the Star Trek Sequel would come out this year but it looks like it's coming out 2013 (just checked IMDB)

Mine is Avengers. The Amazing Spider-Man I do want to see, but I'm scared I'm going to be disapointed... The Avengers however looks like it's just going to be awesome. lol

It's strange, imdb used to have it listed as a 2012 release, I even remember reading this interview where Darren talks little about this project and I clearly remember him saying it was scheduled for 2012. But since then i've never heard of it again and it's not listed on imdb anymore.

Here an update: The movie it's "hidden" at imdb, there's no director anymore but if you see the member comments you'll see that his name used to be there.
