How are your ears doing?

What ist the Frequency Response?

The frequency response specifies the lowest and highest frequency that the acoustic transducer can reproduce. These limits are always set at the point where there is a 3 dB drop (on the lower and upper frequency limit). Unfortunately, this is not standardized, so it is often the case that some manufacturers ?cheat? a bit. Whether headphones really have a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz, for example, remains an open question. The question of what the curve of the frequency response looks like also remains open. Is it linear, or does it go up and down? You would be able to see this on the frequency response curve, but it is rarely included, since it looks pretty ?horrible? for most headphones.

lol, I am 33 year old, and I can hear all of them up to 22kHz !

B/W: I am not music lover ....

Most humans cannot hear past 20! At your age that would put your hearing at superhuman levels! Sorry, but I seriously doubt that you can hear those higher frequencies!

I'm 53 and can hear 16 clearly and I am almost sensing something at 17, perhaps I am imagining that I can, not sure!

this is like comparing apples to oranges since all are using different speakers etc

All consumer speakers/headphones/earphones should still be able to generate up to ~21KHz with ease.

EDIT: Also, the human ear has difficulty receiving signals above 20KHz so this test is a bit off anyway.

that's what most of the people talking about it in comments !

but I can hear it, either its not true 22kHz or its myth that people can't hear above 20kHz, bcoz, im hearing it, its very low but i heard it !

    • Ridiculous claim that the labor cost difference of $6000 annually would increase cost per phone by $200. The employees produce 3 phones per month or what?

    • And I just bought a seat cushion for my mesh chair. The chair feels nice but the first time I sat in it with boxers, I realized I don't like the feel of mesh on my legs. 😂
