A freeware lossless video converter?

Hi basically have some VERY OLD video files think I need lossless conversion for there different frame rates basically when i convert them the to fix the audio the sound/video is out of sync and sound is way too fast.

If those are AVI files, try VirtualDub.

could you post up the media info from the files so we can see what we are working with. And then what tools have you used to try and convert them -- and to what codex/container were you trying to convert them too.
