As others have said imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I've got no problem with OS's borrowing features from each other, in fact quite the opposite, I think we all benefit from it. Now patenting such ideas, that's a whole different discussion. I'm 100% against software patents.

Yes I am, but isn't it like that with every release of Windows? Every time Microsoft releases a new OS Linux users start to b***h around and claim that Microsoft stole something from them…
