I dunno where Halo 5 will go but the spartan ops episodes could be tying the story together. I'll be gone from home for a month so I won't be able to play epis

ode 3+.

you can still play it locally..by yourself are with a partner.

From the numbers of users I see playing in my area of live, dunno if it's split up by EU and US servers or whatever but way more people seem to play big team slayer compared to a few hundred playing some of the other modes. I figure they see this and just go with that, more maps for more players etc.

I really want to know if they'll do a new season of Spartan Ops or what? The way season one ended is a good setup for halo 5 though.

I think that is a result of Halo 4 launching with mostly larger maps. Most of them are made for 8v8 games and I find myself preferring big team slayer more otherwise I'd spend most time walking around. They kind of fixed it in majestic but it is restricted to its own playlist now and even there I get CTF and other objective types when I want to play just plain old team slayer!

So back to big team slayer for me :/

4/12 Only ... Halo 4 Map Pack Sale

Mentioned within the "Castle Map Pack" availability announcement by Major Nelson ...

Get your map packs cheap(er) than normal.

Spartan Ops is supposed to be based on before Halo 5. I'm only speculating that they will be in search of the rest of the rings, arcs, and any other Forerunner technology they'd hope to not let the Covenant take control of.

But as far as I'm concerned with Dr.Halsey, Master Chief is going to be different in Halo 5, behavior wise, because she obviously was the reason for his generation.

No hint at a season 2 for Spartan Ops? Or maybe it's too soon and they do it closer to the release of the next gen halo 5?

They're not going to release Halo 5 until the next Xbox. Halo is the flagship of each initial Xbox release in my opinion.

Spartan Ops is supposed to help give a better explanation before hand with Dr.Halsey. Cortana is for the main story obviously.

Yeah, I get that, just saying I'd like some more before we move on to halo 5 and the next Xbox.

I agree, I personally wouldn't be shocked (if the next Xbox is released this holiday) to see Spartan Ops be released in like October, with some very large cliffhanger, probably one last big Halo 4 challenge and then Halo 5 this Christmas with Xbox3

I forgot to mention that there will be a season 2, sorry about that. The next season is supposed to be based on the revenge of Dr.Halsey when the Spartans had special orders from ONI or Command to eliminate her.

I only said the next release with Halo because each Halo is supposed to take part in stronger hardware as Microsoft is the publisher and owner of the creators.

Oh, nice. Good to know.

    • I missed this when you first posted it, but those are awesome icons! I would normally prefer things to be uniform, but each of those icons seems to fit perfectly for the game! If I may ask though, what was your thought process on which icons are circular - MK makes sense - and which ones should be rectangular or square?
    • What I like about Paint is using it almost exclusively for cropping and resizing images I get elsewhere--it's quick, easy and cheap... I keep it glued to my taskbar, in fact. Also, the clipping tool comes in handy, as well (hit print scrn on the keyboard and it activates immediately.)
    • I still remember it fondly today. It was so cool to work in 64-color Half Bright mode and 4.096-color HAM mode (interlaced) when x86 was still in 4-color CGA or 16-color EGA low res. C= never realized what it had until it was far too late--the failure of C= was the failure of its top management. The C= Amiga was 20 years ahead of its time, I always thought. It didn't hurt that in only 512k of chip memory, the Amiga could preemptively multitask when Apple was still doing gray scale graphics on tiny screens and along with everyone else was doing cooperative multitasking (running more than one app at a time in resident memory, but you could only run one of them at a time--had to manually switch between them.) I had a ball with AREXX scripting running between programs that had AREXX ports so that when you sent other applications data and instructions, those running applications could process the same in real time to output! • I'm not sure about that, but it at least "does" a version of 7.1 that this brand new card doesn't....
