So I have this Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1950 and I seemed to have misplaced the IR Blaster. I wanted to know if I can use any IR Blaster that fits (2.5mm) or is there specific kinds that work with specific models?

Any should work but try to get one the same cable length (E.g. if yours was about 2m, don't use one 5m) to avoid any powering issues.
