100+ usually. After a while I close FF from tankmanager so I end up with a restore tab. Last time I did this I had 9 windows with close to 1k tabs combined. There are 3 or 4 more of those restore tabs burried deeper. If I were to restore them all I'll probably pass the 2k mark.

DAMN YOU TREE STYLE TAB!

Typically 2-5 at most. Exception being when I'm going through a bunch of new threads on a forum, I'll fire off a bunch of tabs for those then close after I'm done with each one. Between bookmarks, jumplists, speedial, browser history, etc, everything is immediately available and I've never had a need to have a ton of tabs open at once. Think the last time I've had more than one browser window open was back in the old XP days when I'd be running Windows Update in IE while browsing in Firefox, nowadays don't think multiple windows ever happen anymore on my systems.

at home I usually have at least 4 open, more often than not it's between 5 and 8, depending on what I'm doing. At work I have to have 7 open at all times for different tools, but normally end up being around a dozen.

What do you do of so many tabs? Work or something ?

Just leasure (although at work I stay around 3-10 tabs because the PC is an old POS). For example going to a thread about something I end up opening whatever is interesting. Take films for exemple, if I browse whatever is the latest, open a tab for each, and if it's interesting the tab stays open usually. When I finish a film I crawl the imdb forum and sometimes I end up with 50+ tabs if it's too late to finish them. Other examples would be browsing deviantart and finding artists I like, long forum threads and of course porn takes a chunk as well. Basically I open more things than I have time to check (work is getting in the way).

As for bookmarks I try not to use them for "read later" stuff, because right now it's a bigger graveyard than my tab dump.

Like I said in the previous post, I blame tree style tab because it's very easy to organise tabs, although it's still out of hand as it is.

Usually over 20....currently around 30.

I almost always open links in new windows and I have a tendency to leave them open if I think they might be useful within the next week or so. I also often leave tabs open after replying to a thread on almost any forum so I can easily monitor responses (I don't like getting flooded with email just to tell me someone replied to a topic after me).

I usually open a forum, go through the first page and open topics I am interested in.

On average 6-10 tabs open (although sometimes more if I am looking on different sites).

One window (surely that's the point in tabs?).

I do not use Tabs -- it's one of those 'improvements' that I disable.

I prefer seperate windows for what I'm viewing.

Yes, I am a radical.

More like you are going 'old school' for when we used to not have tabs. ;)

For me, it depends on what I am doing -For general stuff, usually one or two tabs. Thinks like this forum, reading news, etc...

For when I am working on web sites - I can have several open at a time - one for cPanel*, one for the main site, one for the admin of said site, one for my VPS panel*, and maybe one or two more depending on the need at hand.

* denotes open only when I need them.

Now, at work, I just have one open at the most two. Depending on the task at hand. :)

    • EA reached out to our reporter that mainly does gaming content and reviewed loads of other games, why would this be shocking to anyone? I admit maybe we were considered this time around because of the extra coverage UFC was getting and they wanted a broader audience for this release? IDK. I can tell you that we aren't paid to do the reviews, the fun part of it is (mostly) being able to keep what we review and giving an honest opinion on what we're reviewing.
