Just overclocked my rig

I've been too busy to test my new rig... Well it's only 5 months old now so still reativly new, I've just sucessfully overclocked my RIG to 4.33GHz. a 24% increase on the standard 3.6GHz I set it to Fast first then tried Extreme. It's stable, running very quiet because I have the settings on maxinum power saving so the cooling system is running very quite indeed. To be honest I wasn't expecting to push it to 4.33GHz on the first go... quite a shock really, my OS was at the desktop within 15 seconds which is resonable for SATA6G. There is something I don't understand, and that's it's dropped for x8 core to x7 core which is a little odd. I would have expected this to stay as x8 and not drop to x7 core...? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

am i missing something?
