Picked up the new iPad yesterday

Picked up the new iPad yesterday. Comparing to my iPad2 is easy. First thing I noticed was the screen difference of course with the sharper icons. Checked the camera, HUGE improvement there. Was extremely disappointed with the ipad2 in that area. I still can't imagine why they put such crappy cameras in the first one. As for speed, everything seems about the same. Some games (I only play a couple) seem to not do we'll with the increased resolution. The mouse (my fingers) doesnt go across the screen as fast or as far as I am accustomed to. As for the heat gate issue, I don't notice a bit of difference or even feel any heat from the back of the unit. With the 4g connection, I wish I could say something about it but havent hook up up yet, today maybe I will do that. Useless little review, but some might is interesting.

Ya, to some the camera alone is worth the extra $100, but only if you use it I guess. I use mine alot for business purpose and lots of personal too. Worth it for me but not everyone.

I decided to go and get the Ipad 2 instead of the new one. Screen sharper is not worth 100$ to me. and the ipad2 is a bit lighter and thinner.

I sold my iPad2 and paid the extra for ipad3.. do not regret, love the screen.

It doesn't just have a sharper screen, it has a quad core graphics chip that is comparable in power to the Playstation Vita GPU.
