BTW Rappy have you seen Hick? It's easily her best performance yet as a actress.

From other comments made by Mark Millar, Kick-Ass 2 will incorporate the Hit Girl comics as well as the actual Kick-Ass 2 comics into one movie.

So far Hit Girl comics are just fantastic, and the Kick-Ass 2 comics was a excellent (and even more violent) read.

BRING IT ON :D

Jim Carrey May Join KICK-ASS 2 as Colonel Stars

Universal reportedly wants Jim Carrey to join the ass kicking in director Jeff Wadlow?s Kick-Ass 2. The sequel to Matthew Vaughn?s 2010 original film adaptation of the Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. comic already features returning cast members Aaron Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz, Nicolas Cage and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Carrey is being sought to play the role of Colonel Stars, a founding member of Justice Forever who recruits heroes to the crime fighting group.

After yesterday?s news that Universal was courting Jim Carrey for Jeff Wadlow?s Kick-Ass 2, now Lindy Booth (Dawn of the Dead) is in talks to star as yet another hero. Carrey was sought to play Colonel Stars, who forms the heroic team, Justice Forever. While Carrey may not take the role, Booth is currently in negotiations to star as the Night Bitch, a member of Justice Forever.

Kick-Ass 2, which features the return of stars Aaron Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, stars filming next month in Toronto and New York. Hit the jump for more on Booth, Night Bitch and a recap of the casting so far.

night-bitch-kick-ass-2Heat Vision reports that Booth is in talks to play Night Bitch, a hero who joins Justice Forever after being inspired by Kick-Ass and hopes to avenge the murder of her sister. With the inclusion of Colonel Stars (which only has a slim chance of being played by Carrey, according to the report) and now the potential casting of Night Bitch, it seems as if Justice Forever is going to play a central part to the storyline. It?s possible we?ll get to see the group take on a human trafficking organization, similar to a storyline in the comics.

According to his official website, actor/writer/director Andy Nyman has been cast in Jeff Wadlow's Kick-Ass sequel as The Tumor (Tumour?), one of the members of the super-villain team, The Toxic Mega-****s.

Nyman may not be very familiar Stateside, but he has starred in movies such as Dead Babies, Severance, and the brilliant E4 horror satire Dead Set. Jeff Wadlow will direct Kick-Ass 2, which will begin shooting this September in Toronto and London. Aaron Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nicholas Cage are all set to return. We still don't know who will play "Mother Russia", but expect a bit of news on that soon enough.

Kick-Ass 2 is set to begin filming any day now, and with all the rest of the film's key players confirmed and in place, director Jeff Wadlow has dropped a rather significant hint that Jim Carrey will be among them.

The director took to Twitter over the weekend to reveal that the role of the Colonel has been cast, before dropping a nudge-nudge wink-wink reference to a certain rubber-faced star.

?6 days till we start shooting?" said Wadlow through the social networking site, "and we officially have our Colonel. Alrighty f?n then!? That'll be Carrey's catchphrase from Ace Ventura, right there. We'd say that's as close to a confirmation as it comes.

Carrey will be playing Colonel Stars, a gruff ex-military man in charge of recruiting and leading Justice Forever, a kind of rag-tag Justice League formed by the comic-book's motley collection of heroes. He also has ties to the mob gang run by Frank D'Amico, although he left organised crime many years ago in order to have a crack at fighting it.

It sounds like a less comedic role than Carrey's usual metier, and we reckon he's an exciting choice for the part. Co-starring Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kick-Ass 2 will open in the UK on 19 July 2013.

Aww drats I was hoping they would 'update' their outfits a little, but its a good thing too that nothing changed so it keeps true to the comic book :D

Kick-Ass 2 is rumoured to have added renowned bodybuilder Olga Kurkulina to its cast.

ComicBookMovie reports that the weightlifter has joined the Jeff Wadlow-helmed sequel as Mother Russia, the hulking bodyguard of Red Mist.

Wadlow previously teased the character with a photograph posted on his Twitter account, showing Red Mist actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse beside an unidentified powerhouse.

Kick-Ass 2 sees Mintz-Plasse, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chlo? Moretz and Nicolas Cage reprise their original roles.

Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth and Andy Nyman have also joined the cast.

Really just wanted an excuse to post her pic ;)

But Lindsay Booth, this uber hot redhead, will be playing the role of Night-Bitch.

Night Bitch is one of the new superheroes that was inspired by Kick-Ass and the rise of the other Superheroes. She claims that the main driving force behind what she does was the murder of her sister, who was then found in a dumpster.

Her identity is currently secret and given that a few heroes have lied about theirorigins in the past, hers is also questionable. Armed with a long pole that matches the colour of her costume, she joined Justice Forever and participated in their first mission, to shut down a human trafficking organization.

    • Sorry I mean your back rest on your Herman, can you move the back say 2cm then lock it? Then realise 2cm isn’t enough and you want an extra 1cm then lock it into that position? Basically like in an older car seat, you turn the knob round until you get the back recline precisely where you want it, this is what I found the Herman wouldn’t do
    • WTF? I am not taking a video of myself to access a site or to create an account. What are they thinking? I don’t even have a webcam on my main desktop PC. The powers to be are really looking to normalize the taking of pics or submitting ID for everything. I afraid most people will end up just going along with it.
