I keep all my contacts in google contacts/gmail.

I've found that if I add a contact on my phone, then go to gmail on my computer and look under contacts....the one I added on my phone is not reflected. How do I fix this so changes/additions made on the phone, are updated/added to my google contacts?

In settings on iphone, I have Gmail for an account, with contacts, calendars, reminders selected as on.

I can't see an option for that. I'm using my Google account for my iCloud account and contacts don't sync with my Google account. Everything else does; calendars, mail, etc.

Shame really :(

I did a quick look, and it is actually set up as exchange (I named it GMAIL)....and have m.google.com for server and domain.
The problem seems to be i had icloud account setup also, with contacts. Maybe that was overriding it. I disabled the icloud/contacts in setting and seems to work now. Thanks
