I'm a bit confused, why did Greece advance and Russia didn't? I thought if all is same, GD determines it and Russia is +2?

Head-to-head, goal difference doesn't count in this tournament.

Greece beat Russia so Greece go through even through Russia scored more goals (GD +2) and Greece didn't score more goals (GD =0).

I was sure that South Africa 2010 was a Spain vs Germany final, I had convinced myself that it was. But alas, I was incorrect.

The Netherlands are out of the competition after finishing bottom of 'the dead group', Group B without a single point/win/draw.
