The Tweet has since been deleted, but as evidenced by the reply tweets, people are furious. Personally I thought it was pretty funny.

This isn't sexist, if this is sexist, I want to see huge outrage over cosmopolitan!

Sounds more like someone didn't realize what they were posting in the photo and were just talking about the laptop. If there's an outcry over this people need a reality check.

Uh, they obviously knew what they were posting. Did you read the tweet?

That said, its a sexUAL tweet, not sexIST.

Yea, I can imagine some of those people complaining at home,

"Honey how do I look in my new dress?"

"You look great!"

"You sexist pig!!!"

Well that's what she's there for. To add beauty and glamour to an otherwise geeky event. I don't see anything wrong with appreciating the female form. If someone said my rear looked good, I'd take it as a complement, not an insult. Talk about overreaction.

So women adding sex appeal to objects such as cars is sexist now?

If I had the time, I would love to be able to talk to each of the idiots complaining and prove to them how hypocritical they are. I would love to see them stutter around it.

The comment is sexual, not sexist.
However, having women pose to attract people reduces them to being sexual objects, and that's sexist.

What I'm more concerned about is the man to the right of her who is about to throw up!
