What do you mean ? I have always seen the button "Edit with external editor" and Pixelmator opened and popped my photo so I could modify it. It hasn?t changed from what I can see, in 9.3.

According to Pixelmator this has been added in the latest 2.0.5 update and can now be used as an external editor in iPhoto and Aperture.

On another note, is it truly $15 ? First it was $60, then it became $30 for a limited time, never came back to $60, but now has it been cut in half again !?

I like being able to switch between my iPhoto and Aperture library while staying in Aperture. Can keep my Photo Stream limited to iPhoto. Nice.

You are right. This is what the 2.0.5 release note on their website says:
