ATI CCC cpu overdrive

hey, im trying to figure out why the cpu overdrive in the CCC is no longer available, iv'e been downloading different versions and all, but still no luck; could it be my processor is damaged ? please reply soon thanks.

You should try clean install of CCC and all components, I suggest you to download latest 12.6 WHQL or 12.7 Beta.

iv'e done that multiple times man and nothing the option is gone, the only one there is amd overdrive for the gpu, smh this CCC is driving me nuts.

Hey. Well, to enable it you should install AMD Fusion Utility :) Was also curious where CPU Overdrive was, as i used it from time to time to adjust minimal frequences for CPU.

Sorry, previous suggestion was plainly wrong. What i found out that Overdrive appears after restarting CCC. But fails to have these options in the beginning. Maybe try a delayed launch or, as i suspect that AODdriver may be late to load... will try to autoload it on system boot.

So you should go to Device Manager, find option show hidden devices (sorry i use russian windows so may have difficulties with translating things back), in new tab that appears below 'Drivers of ...ugg... devices that do not set up automatically..." brrr, had to google it... "Non plug-n-play drivers", here seek for AOD 4.1 driver, open it, pick "Driver" tab, and change launch option from auto to ...

Can't edit previous message anymore.

So you change auto-launch option from auto to system, and it should start working on next boot. Tried other options, as 'system' launch doesnt seem correct to me, but nothing else worked.

If smb has a better solution please share :)
