I just recently installed xmarks, but want to know is there a way to change when it syncs? It wants to sync each time I close the browser down, can that be changed somewhere? I did not see any option for it.

If you open up the extension's options (Menu -> Addons -> Extensions -> Xmarks -> Options), and go to the "Sync" tab, there should be an option to "Sync on shutdown" that you can uncheck

I have unchecked that box before, and it seems to default back checked.

Weird. If it keeps happening it might be worth reporting it on their site.

thanks for that workaround! Seeing as the post was over 2 years ago, I would of thought that Xmarks would have addressed the issue by now, I am wondering if it just happens randomly to some people?
