OneNote equivalent for OS X and iOS

Having recently moved to mac from windows am currently looking for an OS X version of OneNote. I have googled around and cannot find anything that meets all my needs.

I work as a SQL DBA, and need the software for 2 main reasons.

• Studying for tech exams
  
• Note taking at conferences/meetings
  

For studying, this would be done on my mbp. Am looking for a program which allows me to mind map, write notes, bring screenshots, pdfs and data from other sources in and annotate over them, whilst allowing me to organise into sections. Basically whatever onenote can do.

For conferences, I would like to use the ipad for note taking at conferences and meetings, Would need to sync with the software on my mbp so both have all my notes. Bonus if the ipad app could allow stylus input

Does anyone have any suggestions

Edit: oh! You want a mac app! LOL! Try evernote from the Mac app store and also get it for your idevice! You could always dual boot with Windows too...

Growly Notes looks like what i am looking for for the OS X side. Will see what i can get for the iPad which will link in with that.
