I was umming and ahhing over getting a 3DS and after looking at the calibre of games compared with cost I decided against it.
I have a PS3 for the latest titles and I was looking for something I can use to play games from my childhood, which imo was the golden age of video games 80s/90s.
I want something I can play games from gameboy all the way up to n64, I looked at getting a PSP but it struggles with n64 games, there are a few chinese/korean handhelds such as the Cannoo, Wiz, etc.. but I want something a bit more powerful than the generic 500-600Mhz ARM cpus that power most of these handhelds.
I did also look into playing them on my phone but I spent a good 3 hours trying to get my dual shock 3 pad paired with my phone but it was a pain and using my phone isnt very useful as the battery life drops dramatically and theres no way to comfortably put the phone and use joypad to control.
Whichever device needs to have the power to play n64/ps1 games, I don't want to spend any more than £150/200 for a really good device.
Does anyone have any devices or any ideas as to which device would be best?
Just to add, it doesnt need to be android, I don't care which OS it runs.
