I have a library of PostScript type 1 fonts which are appearing on my windows machine as "file" (no file type) and 0KB. I can't install them at all. I've tried renaming them and adding the extension manually and that doesn't work either. Any ideas?

Are you copying both the PFB and PFB files into the Fonts folder?

Well at this point windows isn't even recognising that they are PFB files at all, so I doubt it would do any good to put them in the fonts folder.
