This is for windows xp
I changed the partition in control panel while trying to figure out a way to restore to factory settings and now I get NTLDR is missing. I don't have the xp cd. How can I get it to boot from the correct one again?
Thank you!

You can copy ntldr from another XP machine, then copy the file onto your OS hard drive, in C:\ root directory.

You may need to borrow an XP disc, or put your drive in another working computer.

What did you change about the partitions? I use GParted or Parted Magic when doing partitions. Paragon has a free partition tool also http://www.paragon-s...me/pm-express/.

Not sure how to fix without the disc for that particular error.

Thank you, I tried this web-site mentioned by Hum above: http://tinyempire.co...drismissing.htm
I followed the instructions using a USB stick as the boot disk, and it worked!
