SimplePowerOptions for Windows 8 gives you an easy way to shut down, log off and reboot without having to go into the Charms menu.

It displays an icon in the tray area and when clicked, gives you options to manage your PC's power.

How do you mean? This *should* (hopefully) adjust to the visual style you are using, so if you use this on Windows 8, buttons will be flat, on Windows 7 however (as the picture shows), buttons have a slight gradient.

Sorry, meant like having this option in the Start screen as a tile or one tile with four quadrants to power control the system. I'm no developer, just wondering if you'd consider it.

Hows about making the height the same size as the contents so there isn't wasted space? :)

This isn't a "Metro/Modern" app so I can't make it have multiple tiles. But you could always do this if you want power options on the startscreen - http://howto.cnet.co...e-in-windows-8/
