My next serious purchase(Gun Related)

Recently I was at a gun show and saw the Barrett MRAD. So I've been doing a lot of thinking and well, I think I'm going to get one. Anyone here have one? Anyways, take a look at this:

If you have the $$ then OH, HELLYEAH!! The mag release is the only "normal" performing bit, with the rest being typical Barrett: a long-range, nail-driving, highly adaptive SOB.

What with losing our biggest acct., I can't justify this purchase. So am buying a Ruger SR-22PB.

Sorry folks. No report. Had to cancel my order. Things are going south here. If it isn't one thing, it's another. First car issues, now we need a new roof. Going to have to hold out awhile longer for this purchase.

That Barrett is one sick gun. I wonder if it would be legal here in commie land (NY) since it has a folding stock, I think the folding/telescoping stock law only applies to semi autos.

That is one very nice gun. Plenty of options and being able to change caliber means being able to select the best one for the task at hand,

I think my next purchase will be a Sig P226 in .40.

Look into the SIG Mk25 (9mm SEAL P226 with special coatings in & out etc) and a .40 XChange Kit. Twice the fun & tough.

Is Barrett all hype on their other guns besides the .50 cal sniper rifle they make?

I mean I heard about other things they make, like the REC7, but I heard that the stuff is a bit high priced compared to other companies that make good AR15s.

So how good, as in value for your money, are Barrett guns outside of their sniper rifle?

From what I've seen that they make, it's all sniper or designated marksman rifles, looks like the REC7 is a high priced AR base, but the way it 's built seems more suited to the marksman role than anything else, and the price is on the high end of what you used to be able to pay for a decent AR, current trends have jacked prices for ARs out the roof, you could have easily gotten a decked out AR for the price of the REC a few months ago
