Kanecorp Posted January 16, 2002 Share Posted January 16, 2002 Just wondering how to network XP with OSX...i currently have 4 PCs networked with a linsksys router, and would like to add a OSX mac to the network...i heard you could add PC protocols? JustinLerner Posted January 18, 2002 Share Posted January 18, 2002 I do know that Mac OSX supports TCP/IP. You should be able to use TCP/IP on the Mac (make sure the netmasks are the same and the first three sections of the dotted IP addresses are the same.) For example: IP addresses 192.168.200.xxx, where xxx is between 1-254 and is a different and unique number for each PC and the Mac netmask 255.255.255.0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
