Looking for a map site that can...

... let me measure how far two points are from each other. Not driving directions, but point-to-point, or, in the vernacular, "as the crow flies." Can someone point me to a site that can do that?

I don't know of a website, but couldn't you just use a ruler and compare it to the scale on the site? I know google maps provides a scale, so you would just need to compare the distance to that...

There should be a Maps Labs link in the bottom left of the screen.

Click on it and enable 'Distance Measurement Tool'.

The ruler should be on the bottom left of the map area.

Great! I KNEW Google Maps would have such a function but just couldn't find it.

I have it enabled. Let's see if I am lucky! Thanks!!!
