Gordon Ramsay to the rescue.

The network getting Kitchen Nightmares back on the air on Oct. 26, leading into Fringe. With Fox struggling in the ratings on Fridays — X-Factor repeats currently fill the 8 p.m. slot — the move should help boost the night since Ramsay’s makeover show typically generates a relatively solid-ish number.

As part of this shakeup, the second season of Kiefer Sutherland’s Touch is getting pushed to January. Fox won’t yet say where on the schedule it will air. Meanwhile, Monday night’s The Mob Doctor continues to stay alive … for now.

Jack and Renee will be back together again on Fox! EW has learned exclusively that Annie Wersching — who portrayed FBI Agent Renee Walker in seasons 7 and 8 of 24 — will guest star in the second season of the Kiefer Sutherland starrer Touch. Wersching will play Dr. Kate Gordon, a smart and caring family therapist specializing in early childhood trauma and behavioral issues. Her episode will air sometime in the spring. Touch returns to Fox on Feb. 1.

The Prime Suspect actress — who joined Fox’s Kiefer Sutherland drama at the end of Season 1 and was upgraded to a series regular ahead of the about-to-premiere second season — has left the series, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Reps for Fox and 20th Century Television declined to comment, but multiple sources confirm that the exit was a mutual decision between Bello and Touch producers.
