As the title says. I looked up a few reviews, all seemingly posted before the episode even aired which seemed to praise it (which made me suspicious, plus one was actually on dave's site). I haven't seen the first episode but saw about a minute of it with kryten and rimmer, apart from chris barrie seemingly aged quite a bit, his voice was changing randomly (nothing like rimmer's character), kryten's costume looked incredibly tacky and the way he was acting was also, completely out of character. If I'm honest, it seemed like complete garbage, so I'm open to what everyone that saw it (or parts of it) thought of it?

Hey n_k i saw the same trailer too and thought it looked tacky and even posted i probably will not enjoy it we'll im just about to find out for myself after ive posted this and made a brew! I would post what i think about it, but ive been off my tv, movies and everything else infact so probably best to try it for yourself or wait till someone else replies, here is hte link im using <Snipped> i will suggest that if you dont have one installed allready to install an adblocker as i believe the site throws a few at you i get no ads but then i have blockers on.

Anyway time to make that brew hope you enjoy/get a decent review.

Was ok i suppose will add it to my RD collection and see how the other episodes are feel it could of been a little better though but wont say how because im terrible and spoil stuff =P

First episode is good, but remember the actors are getting used to being back in their characters again.

They nail it by the fifth episode imho (probably sooner but I haven't seen those episodes)

Yes it is good. It's great to see them back together again cracking those funny gags full of simile you only ever hear on Red Dwarf.

I liked the original series. Not sure about this new one.

I thought it was pretty good. Big improvement over that last short series they did.

Also felt the episode got better as it went on - felt stale initially. If they can carry on improving then I think it'll be a winner.
