Why can't IE Mobile view comments sections on some sites?

Sadly, a deal breaker for me returning to a WP is the ability to see comments on blogs like TechCrunch and HuffPost. I can see comments on articles here and also on Wmpoweruser, but why not the formerly mentioned blogs? Is it the blog devs' fault or is IE Mobile not capable like iOS and Android which can see those sections?

Most likely the fault of those blogs because mobile web developers only care about writing for webkit browsers.
