Dont really know where else to ask and cant find anything relevant on google. Basically I want to go on a road trip with my girlfriend to France, however she has a UK travel document not a full passport, will this be enough for her to get through. We taking a ferry btw so not sure if that makes it anything different from a plane or train.

If heard once that you cannot travel to France without a passport but other sites say you can as long as its less than 90 days. I just want to be 100% sure so I dont end up going back home having booked everything.

I travelled from France to London once and my ID card was enough so I guess you should be fine.
