Hi,
I have a few days old iPad 2 16Gb black (5.1.1) that i jailbroke using redsn0w, however i've come to the conclusion that i dont like it so im going to sell it on.

Whats the best way of getting rid of the jailbreak?

I've read that simply connecting it to itunes and selecting restore is the way forward but i wanted to check first, as i think that also would upgrade to to 6.0 and im not sure if thats good or bad.

Any tips?

hit the restore button duh.

if u actually bought from a store return it

don't restore it normally, because that WILL put 6.0 on it and thats a bad thing since we have no idea WHEN a jailbreak will be out

Also it will get you lost, and maybe even kill you.

Since he plans on selling the device I don't think he cares. Just hit the reset button in General under settings. That should nuke it.
