Hi my mums xbox has started saying this when watching DVDs. sometimes it eventually plays, other times it doesn't. its still under warranty, but wanted to try and understanding whats going on first.

shes been away in turkey for a couple of months, and when she returned the xbox updated its self.

any ideas?

Maybe it's trying to download the codec pack again because it can't read the memory device that's on there? does it have a hard drive or anything?

clearing the cache never worked. MS repairedit free of charge. was a fault of some sort!
