I bought a Dell computer two weeks ago. I've been having trouble seeing playback devices since then. The only playback device I see is speakers which is Conexant SmartSound HD. I can't really see my soundcard there. I updated every driver and still no help. I also clicked show hidden devices and still no help. What can be the problem?

Sounds like you're looking in the Playback devices when you right click the volum control. You should just have Speakers listed there, unless you have something else hooked up, like a TV hooked up threw HDMI, then you'd see your TV listed there too.
To find your soundcard, you should be llooking in the Device Manager in Control Panel.
