So they're being discontinued because some idiots are letting their kids get hold of them and swallow them. I'm sorry but that's ridiculous. I just looked at these things on youtube and they look awesome!

There are plenty of alternatives.

I bought the Neocube and love it, they're quite addicting.

And yet they still allow the manufacture and sale of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages and firearms. Pretty hypocritical.

And cars. Kids might kill themselves if they end up finding their parents' car keys and attempt to drive the car. . . .

That's how stupid this is. There are many products that could harm children if the children gain access to them. The trick is not allowing children to gain access to these products, as many people do daily with other products.

This whole situation is ridiculous.

True, however, Neocubes in my opinion are much weaker then Buckyballs.

I have two sets of the cubes. Very fun to play with but it cheaper to just buy from a magnet store. They do not come in a cool little plastic case but cheaper.!!

you can still by the Zen or Neo versions though
:D

bucky cube set is 25$ you can get that for 10$ if you shop around and you can even chose how strong you want the magnets.

This is just one retailer, and they are quite expensive compared to others too
