ron963
I am building a mini budget computer for someone and this will only be used for internet surfing and office. It will run on Ubuntu 12.10 and OpenOffice. I know the hard drive and RAM isn't up to par but other than that what do you think? http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=20720245
tsupersonic
Why not just get a small SSD? My suggestion is to wait for Black Friday, since you will get some great deals on computer hardware.
ron963
SSD is a good choice. A 32GB is around the same of the current 320GB I have there. I'll ask to wait until Black Friday.
Mindovermaster Moderator Posted November 5, 2012 Moderator Share Posted November 5, 2012 Your 2GB of RAM should be more than enough for Ubuntu 12.10.
