Windows Phone 8 / Secure SSL Support

Hi everyone. I read at the following article that Windows Phone 8 will support Secure SSL as a VPN option.

I was just wondering if this was the same as SSL VPN. I presently use SSL VPN at work at was hoping support for this would be coming to Windows Phone 8 so that I could take advantage of these features.

So, I wanted to ask. Any help and information is greatly appreciated.
