I knew I forgot to mention one.

They briefly had O&C as a facebook game, but refused to fix all the bugs, and because they were getting so many complaints about them, instead of fixing the bugs, they shut the facebook game down.

Cheers will give some of these a try :)

Im looking for a decent 2D/3D Shooter like R-Type/1942 and such

Ive heard of a live wallpaper thats similar but alas cant find it.

Not exactly a side scroller, but a similar 3D idea, great game too

You might try installing NVs TegraZone app, that gives you a heads up on games that actually use the graphics capabilities.

Speaking of TegraZone, Dark Meadow: The Pact is Tegra 3 exclusive and looks pretty mean, it tells me it is compatible with my TF101 (Tegra 2) but it won't load after install

The only thing I will say about NOVA 3 is that it runs a bit like arse on Tegra platforms, and I have no idea why. Apparently the game runs fine on an SGS3, which while it has a different processor, the horsepower is comparable. A bit of a shame, as it looks like a good game, but I find the choppiness of the game an annoyance.

Ran like sh** on my TF101 when it was running ICS, but since installing JellyBean it runs great, nice and smooth and the compass look setting is pretty fun, bit difficult to control but feels like VR

Gameloft's Block Breaker 3 game isn't too bad if you can overlook the fact that it's freemium (You can play for free but you have to buy more balls), Can Knockdown 2 is also pretty good, as is Paper Toss

not trying to hijack a thread, but there are some really good suggestions on here! Glad this thread was created! Cheers, OP! (Y)

There's also my game ;) https://play.google....=com.tangledapp

Good job, man! I'm going to have to try this out, eventually! (Y)

Awesome peeps. Some great suggestions in this thread.

Will be downloading this lot tonight and trying them out. Loving checking this thread every few days and getting more games to sift thru.

Its all very well chancing your luck on the app store (tho folk seem to give everything 4-5 stars), but very handy when you have actual recommendations to go on.

Keep em coming folks :)

Don't know if you are willing to pay for any games, as most you can find for free, but I'll stick my nose in and suggest Assassin's Creed. It's really not too bad on a mobile. I know I sure do love it! Global Outbreak is pretty fun too, as well as Subway Surfer, Angry Gran Run, or Streaker! (Streaker is hilarious, IMO). Another one of my fav's is NBA Jam...BOOM SHAKKALAKKA! Most awesome basketball game I've ever played, and quite funny too. The announcer is awesome, just like back in the SNES days.

    • Too late for a slightly older computer I had that didn't meet the hardware requirements for Windows 11 but had great hardware. I installed ubuntu on that thing and gave to a friend's kid.
