How fast is my image uploading site?

Question

I have finally completed coding my own image uploading site. Simple yet fast. It's called Imgus - Imgus.net - http://www.imgus.net

Now what I want you to do is I want you to compare my image uploading site with the image uploading site you usually use. Which one is faster?

Also, don't comment on the design, it's very dull but I mean who spends 2 hours a day on an image uploading site anyways? lol

1. there is no upload section :(

2. Same name? - Edited name, that's better ;)

3. Speeds are pretty nice. It maxed out my upload speed of 1Mbps and download were around 800KB/s :)

Thanks, and if I'm reading your post right, my response to it is that it's a quick image uploading sort of thing. :)

I normally use Imgur. I uploaded a fairly high-res photo to your website and it was considerably faster than Imgur.

Just give me unlimited storage and bandwidth and I'm sold. :p

Unlimited storage and bandwidth given, enjoy it forever for the price of free.

Managed to upload a 1.3MB image pretty fast, then tried a 6MB image and upload speed was around 700kB/s on an 18meg upload connection, normally averages 2MB/s up

With the 6MB image it uploads, but then doesn't show the picture, just returns to the empty upload page

I tried a 3.3 mb file and it was fast, but returned to the main page. It didn't show me the pic or give me a link.

Thanks for your reply guys, can you guys send me a big image? I'll try and test it out.

    • Ridiculous claim that the labor cost difference of $6000 annually would increase cost per phone by $200. The employees produce 3 phones per month or what?
