So, our family finally decided to come out of caves and buy a new LCD TV because the old CRT is just... old.

I got a budget for 500-600 EUR (640-770 dollars).

I was thinking of buying an LG 47LS560S: http://uk.hardware.i...:specifications @ cost of 580 EUR - 740 Dollars

But the cheap price (for our country) is making me kind of suspicious.
The TV would be used for classic TV channels, HD movies, streamed from home NAS system and occasional BluRay. Speakers and stuff will be added later as budget permits.

Can someone check this TV for me if I missed something?

TV seems fine for your needs, I previously had the 47LW650T and it was a very nice set, LG seem to be well priced for the spec they give hence I bought one. If you can get it for a reasonable price then I would say go for it

LG's are great tvs. I actually have the LG 47Ls560s and haven't had one problem with it. Our family leaves it on pretty much 24/7 and it hasnt had one hiccup. If your not sure I'd suggest checking out some reviews or pricing on other TVs with the same specs. I saw some good reviews on tvrevs about some Samsung TVs. They are another great brand that really lives up to their name. Good luck in your hunt.
