
Mirror's Edge was beloved by critics, but it didn't sell quite as well as EA was hoping. Fans have been hoping for a sequel ever since. And, according to rumor, it might just be happening.
Ben Cousins, formerly in charge of the Battlefield franchise for EA, weighed in on Twitter:

The story he links to discusses DICE's revelation that, in addition to Battlefield 4 and DLC for Battlefield 3, they're also hard at work on other, undiscussed projects.
Our Take: While Mirror's Edge didn't sell the three million copies it was projected to, it did manage to get into solid hit territory, moving two million copies. So it's not surprising a sequel may be on the way… and welcome news, if true.'
