So I found an old e-book that I had and it is in the epub format, so I googled for a windows program to read, and was directed to http://epubreader.info/ when I attempted to download the file, Kaspsersky pops up and tells me that it contains a Trojan downloader. I am not sure if this is a false positive, or if is real. Does anyone else know of a program that I could use?

I would recommend Calibre, also, but I haven't really looked at others. I needed Calibre for other things, also, so didn't need another solution.

Sumatra (the PDF viewer) handles ePUB's as well among other things, although personally Calibre's book reader does a better job of it.

Maybe you can also check out the following list. There are lots of Epub readers with a short description, also for Windows. I personally like the Epub Firefox Extension...
