Do you sell your old things?

I know it's a wide question so anything that is literally junk we can discount for the purposes of this poll.

I tend to keep boxes for things I use for this specific reason. A lot of my "used" items are in good condition so it makes sense to keep the box and maximize any money I can get for them.

Just wondered how many people can be bothered and how they do it.

I only sell junk if I've got a lot of it and I'm sure that it works. If I have any doubts I will not sell it, as it's not worth the earache afterward.

usually, if it's junk, and i can get a couple of quid for it (sometimes a lot more) then it's worth it imo

i always work out if it's worth it though, otherwise it just goes in the bin.. i don't count my time!

No, I just give it away to relatives or friends. No warranty, no support.

My tech stuff stays, the rest usually, too as I seem to only buy things that remain relevant to me.

We sell stuff it is worth selling. Craigslist for big stuff and Amazon Marketplace for small stuff. A lot of "junk" isn't worth the time, so we just either donate it to GoodWill or throw it away.

If something is worth more than $50, I'll put it up on Ebay or Craigslist. Otherwise I just donate it to Good Will.

I've sold some stuff I had no use for.

Many things I just put out for trash.

But I confess I keep many things, 'just in case ...'. :p

I live off the supply & junk chain. Buy the shiny new thing, and 3 months later sell it to buy the newer iPad shiny thing.

If I do sell stuff, I only sell it to friends/family and with a heavy discount (or free)

Nope never. Throw it away, recycle or give it away to charity.
