AHCI -> RAID After install on 2012/8

but what if you already have AHCI and want to go to RAID? Do you just delete that key for IAStoreV? My IAStoreA does not have a StartOverride, but I'm currently using the IAStoreA driver for AHCI. if I delete the StartOverride option for IAStoreV, to enable RAID, will it hose anything?
