steam far cry 3

Recommended Posts

Far Cry 3 is available worldwide. You shouldn't have any issues finding it on the European store. I just checked and it was made available on Steam on 29th November.

not available in uk yet... http://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_4_4__12&term=far+cry+

The Steam store automatically redirects me to the European site regardless of the link, and the site tells me that I can buy it for 50 euros, and have had the ability to do so since 29th November. I wonder why you guys have to wait another couple of days...weird.

im not sure intrinsica. probably some dispute between UBI uk and Steam uk no doubt! which is abscure, since i really want to buy it! but am unable.... this just encourages piracy. as i'll be honest, im very tempted to torrent it now since i just want to play it now.... I wont though. but tempted! Grrr

Ah, having just gone and checked it looks like it'll be released in the UK on December 4th. The developers wanted to make some last-minute changes before releasing it.

So you only have to wait 2 days! Even if I bought it today I wouldn't be able to play it until sometime next week, so count yourself lucky! :p

I'm from the UK and I bought it from here: GameKeys4U.net

It activates on Steam and it's playable now, so there's no waiting for the North America release. The website sounds dodgy but it checks out on TrustPilot and both my brother and I bought Far Cry 3 from there, so I'm happy to recommend it. The process wasn't instant but I received the key within 10hrs; my brother received his within an hour. As always, if you don't feel comfortable with the website then don't use it.

It's annoying that Ubisoft messed about with the UK Steam release again, just like it did with Far Cry 2.

So its ok to do this ?

Unfortunately, Ubisoft can't put their latest games on the UK store in Steam due to a contract they have with a UK retailer which prevents them. (source: http://forums.ubi.co...121#post8749121)

Assassin's Creed 3 is the same. :)

It seems to just gift it from another region and international gifting is allowed by Steam's User Agreement. It's not a region restricted copy - for instance, Russian versions are usually restricted due to their lower prices - and it's all on the up-and-up.

So yes, it's legitimate if that's what you're asking. I came across the website on the Steam forums, so if it was a dodgy website I would have expected the link to be blocked.

I actually got a free copy with my graphics card, if anyone wants the serial I can give it for free. I have never used it. Not sure if the download link can be shared but will check.

Dirt Showdown was ment to come with my new graphics card, serial didn't work and ebuyer refused to give me a new one.

******s!

if its a steam code then you can always contact steam. You will have to send them a picture of the card with the serial and they should give you a new one.

and yep the link can be shared, but its only active for 30 days so after that you wont be able to download the game.

To be honest, I didn't try the code because it never came with one. I don't know why I said that. When I brought it, Ebuyer's website said it came with a free copy of Dirt Showdown and when I received it, it's also printed on the box that it included a code for it... but was missing.

Sods law, and unhelpful Ebuyer wont be getting my business anytime soon.

If that's true, that's ****ing bull****. I hated GAME long before they ran out of money, crap like that wouldn't surprise me honestly.

dont know if the activate on steam but...

pre order here: http://www.gamersgat...q=far%20cry%203

It doesn't, otherwise it would say so under the DRM section. If you're going to buy it without Steam you're better off using the 30% discount code for GreenManGaming.

    • So they saved ton of money by using AI resulting in loss of crap load of money in recalls and expenses. Bravo. Management needs to be replaced by AI, not engineers.
    • Ditto that, I have a few Alexa devices around the house to control lighting and such for a disabled person I live with, and it shows a *lot* of ads on the display. The dots are simple but effective. A lot cheaper too.
    • Go for a Echo Dot or Pop instead. These Echo shows just advertise to you.

NetSpeedTray v1.3.3: The Updater Fix A stabilization release that repairs a critical regression in v1.3.2: the app shipped without OpenSSL, which silently broke every HTTPS request — including the built-in update checker (the "Could not check for updates" error many of you hit). This release restores it, hardens the build so it can't happen again, and fixes a startup crash plus four other reported bugs. Changes: Fixed update checking — Resolved a critical issue that prevented the app from checking for updates ("Could not check for updates"). Fixed startup crash with Auto-Cycling — The app no longer crashes on launch after enabling Cycle display mode. Fixed incorrect network speeds on 10GbE adapters — Multi-gigabit network cards now display speeds correctly instead of being stuck at 0. Improved color coding — Default color is shown when idle, and color/threshold changes now apply immediately without restarting. Fullscreen visibility fix — The widget now correctly stays visible over fullscreen apps when Keep Visible is enabled. Improved AMD Ryzen temperature detection — More reliable CPU temperature monitoring for Ryzen processors. Cleaner upgrades — Installer now removes outdated application files during upgrades, preventing DLL/version conflicts while preserving user settings. Improved stability — Fixed potential DLL loading issues by excluding critical OpenSSL and NumPy components from UPX compression. Better settings window — Scrollbars removed and layout improved for a cleaner experience. Localization improvements — Updated translations and completed missing UI text across all supported languages. More reliable releases — Added regression tests covering recent critical fixes, bringing the test suite to 196 passing tests.
