gax23
Hi all, Hope you can help... I've got a MyBook World Live NAS attached to my router, and all has been working fine. All of a sudden my MacBook Pro has decided it doesn't like it any more. The alias resolves fine to the folder on the NAS, but I've got this damned 'loading' symbol in the bottom-right of the Finder window and it's not letting me open any folders within the NAS. Almost as if it's still 'thinking' about it, but it sits there for hours doing that. My Windows laptop connects to it fine, as does my Western Digital TV Live hub which is plugged into my TV. Why doesn't the Mac like it anymore? As I'm not getting any error messages, I really don't know what I can do to fix it. I'll happily PayPal some money to anyone who can find out the problem and sort it!

threetonesun
I'll ask the obvious, have you restarted everything?

richardsim7
Check your NAS for afp settings, as smb seems to be working fine
